I am a mathematics student in Part III of the Mathematics Tripos at Cambridge University (also known as the Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics program). After this one year program I hope to stay at Cambridge for my PhD. My primary interests are in combinatorics, but I also enjoy algebra, topology and logic, I also hope that part III will broaden my understanding and appreciation of other areas of math. My undergraduate degree is from Colorado State University where I worked with Dr. McConnell on research in graph theory.
The primary purpose of this blog is to keep people at home informed about what I’m doing across the pond. However, I also hope to provide information that may be interesting/useful to other people considering a similar course of study. Flip Tomato’s blog is also an excelent resource for such information.
